Qualified installers are needed to help meet the significant demand for heat pumps, which is being stimulated by a number of factors, including the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), changes to Part L of the Building Regulations and the end of gas boiler installations in new builds by 2025.
To help support installers in related trades into this growth area of Building Services, the Heat Pump Installer Training and Support Scheme (HITSS), funded by the department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy’s (BEIS), is offering up to 70% off the cost of associated training.
